Our Process

We work very hard to make sure that the process of building your custom home goes smoothly. We know that communication before and throughout the process is very important. Read below to learn more about the process of building your NEW home.

Step One – Securing Financing

Unless you are paying cash for your new home, you will want to secure financing through a reputable mortgage company.

(If you do not have a lender, we would be more than happy to refer you to one). Securing financing will allow you to know your budget and provide the best option for you and your family.

Step Two – Floorplan & Secure Land/Lot

We will sit down together with you to discuss the important highlights, functionality, and the vision for your new home. For example, is the kitchen the center of your home, are outdoor spaces a high priority, or would you enjoy having a theater for movie or sports watching?

Step Three – Contract & Deposit

The next step is the signing of the contract. This is also when your deposit is due. Once your contract is signed and your deposit is made, work will begin as soon as allowed by local codes.

Step Four – Finishes!

The fun part! You will be given a design sheet for finish, color, stain, carpet, etc. along with a sheet of vendor contacts to set appointments to make your choices. Please take your budget sheet with you to these appointments. It is helpful to the sales person to know what that particular budget number is (if applicable). Your design sheet is due back to us within 2 weeks or sooner. This will help us to secure your preferred choices.

Step Five – Construction

Watch your home come to life! We will communicate with you and keep you up to date on each stage of your build. At this time an estimated completion date will be given.

Step Six – Closing

After your home is completed and we have done your final walk through together, you will be able to set a closing date. At the closing all warranties, keys, and pertinent operational information will be given. WELCOME HOME!
